Moneyey (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Moneyey Android app handles your information.
Your financial data stays on your device
All financial data you enter in Moneyey — accounts, transactions, income, obligations, budgets, and wish list items — is stored locally on your device using an encrypted database. This data is never transmitted to our servers.
Google Drive Backup (optional)
If you choose to enable cloud backup, Moneyey uses your Google account to save a backup file to your personal Google Drive. This backup contains your financial data and is stored under your own Google account, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Google Drive or its contents.
To use this feature, Moneyey requests access only to files it creates — it cannot read other files in your Drive.
License Validation
To verify that your copy of Moneyey is genuine, the app uses the Google Play Integrity API. This sends a cryptographic attestation token (not your financial data) to our validation service (Supabase) to confirm the app is installed from the Play Store. No personal or financial information is included in this process.
Activation
If you purchase Moneyey Premium, your activation status is verified with our server. Only the activation code and device attestation token are transmitted — never your financial data.
Permissions
- INTERNET — required for Google Drive backup and license validation only
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — used to deliver local bill and obligation reminders; no data leaves your device
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — used to display local reminders
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — used to reschedule reminders after a device restart
- com.android.vending.BILLING — required to process in-app purchases through Google Play
Advertising and Analytics
Moneyey contains no advertisements and no third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track your usage behavior.
Data Deletion
To delete all your data, uninstall the app. If you enabled Google Drive backup, you can delete the backup file from your Google Drive at any time.
Children’s Privacy
Moneyey is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
